FALL 2010 EVENTS
This year Texas Dance will not be performing at Hex Rally, but we will be there supporting the other performers and the football team! Hex Rally began when the Longhorns, desperate for help getting out of their losing streak with the Texas A&M Aggies, sought help from a fortune teller. She told the fans to burn red candles in their windows, and the Longhorns would win. That Thursday night the Longhorns did beat the Aggies, and we continue to light red candles to hex them each year. Join Texas Dance on Monday night to get your candle and support the Texas Longhorn Football Team in their annual Thanksgiving game against the Aggies!
PLA: Project Linking The Arts

In an effort to reach more of the Austin community, Texas Dance performed Halloween routines for the residents of Longhorn Village, the retirement community built in association with the Texas Exes. We had so much fun performing for and visiting with alumni who love the University of Texas as much as we do, as well as residents who did not go to UT.

We hope you brought the kids in their costumes to see Texas Dance perform at Longhorn Halloween! Longhorn Halloween is a fun and safe Halloween carnival put on for children of UT Austin faculty, staff, and students. Admission is free and the event features games, face painting, a haunted house, a fire truck, and more! We performed two routines and stayed after for pictures with the kids. It was great to see all the children in their costumes and get more involved in the UT community.
