This is Ally’s 2nd year on the University of Texas Dance Team. She became a member in the Spring of 2011 and is so excited to be apart of such a great group of talented and beautiful girls. Ally is a junior at the University of Texas and is majoring in Elementary Education in the hopes of being an elementary school teacher. She began taking dance classes at the age of 15 at Studio 3 Dance and fell in love with it. She was a member of the JV drill team, the Cougarettes, for her freshman and sophomore year and then a member of the Varsity drill team, the Golden Girls, for her junior and senior year of high school. Ally was an Officer Assistant her senior year and was also apart of the elite squad of her drill team both her junior and senior year called Gold Dust. She has competed in many different drill team and solo competitions throughout high school and is so excited to compete in at NDA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida again in the Spring. She has received many awards such as Dance Academy, Senior of the Year, Most Improved, as well as many team awards throughout high school. Her favorite style of dance would have to be hip-hop but loves all different styles. Ally lives for performing and showing her school spirit! She is so excited for what the rest of the year has to bring! HOOK ‘EM HORNS!
