This is Kristin’s second year on the UT Dance Team and she is very excited! She has been a Longhorn fan since the day she was born, so representing UT is an honor for her. Kristin has been dancing for 17 years with experience in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, clogging, pointe, and other styles of dance. She was a member of both the Smithson Valley High School Silver Spurs Dance Team and the Port Neches-Groves High School Indianette Drill Team. She served as an Indianette Lieutenant her senior year. With these teams, she attended many competitions such as Marching Auxiliaries, Showmakers, and ADT. She won many awards with both dance teams such as: Miss High Kick Finalist, Superior Performer, Honor Roll Medal, All Star Performer, and was elected to the All Star Dance Team. Kristin also danced at Taylor Dance Studio under the direction of Lori Guidry in Nederland, TX. At the studio, she was also a member of Taylor A’s Competition Team and Southeast Texas Ballet Company. With the competition team, they won numerous awards including Platinum and Gold at West Coast Dance Explosion. She is also a member of both Texas Sweethearts and Texas Angels and is studying Sport Management with hopes of being able to continue with her passion for sports. Kristin is extremely enthusiastic about her second year at The University of Texas in Austin!
