This is Nikita's third year on Texas Dance, and she loves every minute of it! Nikita is a junior pursuing a career in public relations, and hopefully event planning. Nikita has been dancing for 17 years now, and has spent 9 of those years dancing competitively. Nikita was a part of the University of Texas at San Antonio Chaparelle Dance Line, where she was first exposed to the world of college dance. She was a member of her high school dance team, the Langham Creek High School in Houston, Texas. Nikita is also proud to say that she was a member of Dance Factory for thirteen years. It was here where she began her dancing career and found that her favorite style was tap dance. This summer Nikita was lucky enough to be able to attend NDA collegiate dance camp with the team, for the second year in a row and she is very proud of how much they were able to accomplish. Aside from NDA camp, Nikita has attended many other various camps such as Pro Dance, Marching Auxiliaries, Crowd Pleaser's, and the Pulse Dance Tour where she worked under many talented instructors. Nikita also works for Elite Dance Company, where she is a dance instructor and choreographer for high school drill teams all over Texas. In Nikita’s spare time, she enjoys being silly with her friends and of course going downtown to dance and have a good time. Nikita is very excited to be a part of Texas Dance and continue on with her dancing career!!
