Trish is currently a senior dance major at the University of Texas and is ecstatic to spend her last year at the greatest university on earth with the most incredible dance team as well. Trish began dancing in when she was 12 at The Pointe Dance Studio in San Marcos, Texas. In high school, Trish was honored to be elected captain of her high school drill team, San Marcos High School Diamond Line. Trish was also selected to perform and compete competitively on Shock Dance Center’s “Elite Team,” the top 5 dancers at the studio. During her high school career, Trish competed with Half Time Entertainment, MA, Talent on Parade, ShowMakers, Crowd Pleasers, American Dance and Drill Team, New York City Dance Alliance, Starbound, JUMP, Encore, and West Coast Dance Explosion, obtaining several awards for her solo performances, choreography, and state champion team titles. During her time at the university, she has worked as an instructor and choreographer for Half Time Entertainment and Shock Dance Center, a choreographer for San Marcos High School and Hays High School, and a judge for Dance Unlimited and Travis High School. Trish founded a dance organization at UT named Texas Talent, providing a performance opportunity for various dance groups on campus. Trish’s other activities include being an appointed officer for her sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda, the administrative assistant for East Austin Young Life, a member of Texas Lassos, and, most recently, a nanny for a family of 6! Of all Trish’s endeavors, being a member of Texas Dance been the most exciting for Trish in representing her school. Hook ‘em!
